Today I ran in a race called the Race for Women’s Health 5k in Lewisburg, PA. I’ve not been doing as much running and am kind of behind schedule in preparing for my races. I’ve noticed that I was feeling quite good in the beginning of the race and actually felt better throughout the race.
In the past, whenever I did a race, I could not eat anything afterwards for a couple of hours. Today, I was hungary. As I sit here typing this post, I feel better at this moment then at anytime in the past during race day. I am anxiously awating more races during the coming months.
